Mowing:
Upon request and where the terrain permits, MOW-JOE utilizes a non-powered, reel mower. Reel mowers are quiet and naturally they don't create any petroleum emissions. They also create a sharper, more distinct cut on each blade of grass, which exposes less cut area discouraging disease problems. (Golf courses use gangs of these type mowers to care for fairways but of course they pull them with a tractor.) This approach is not for everyone but it may be for you.
Trimming:
Hand clippers and hand power do the job quietly and cleanly - as long as old MOW-JOE's hand holds out!
Edging:
A push type rotary edger creates a nice clean edge without noise or exhaust - except for the person pushing it!
Ornamental trimming and pruning:
Hand clippers and pruning shears make your ornamental shrubs beautiful without disturbing their rest. Hand shearing produces the same general effect as power shearing but is certainly quieter. Hand pruning removes excess growth at leaf or branch joints resulting in a natural looking shrub.
